Hojicha, or roasted green tea, is one of the most popular types of teas in Japan, especially for late afternoons or dinner, due to its low caffeine content. The roasting of tea leaves results in a toasted, slightly caramel flavor that has been in enjoyed in Japan for close to a millennium.

This hojicha is made by AGF, one of the largest tea makers in Japan, and comes in 100 convenient instant powder sticks. The powder has been made using a special spray dry process which allows the unique taste and aroma of this tea to come through in a way that is easy and quick to make.
