This fine incense is made in Japan with generous amounts of agarwood, a rare and precious fragrant wood from Southeast Asia. Among the various types of agarwood, Koyasan Daishido uses the one from Vietnam (also known as Siam agarwood), which has a distinctive sweet and soft aroma that is elegant and mysterious. This oriental and ethereal scent cannot be replicated by any other substance. This incense does not contain any synthetic chemicals, so it is suitable for those who do not like perfume-like incense.
