This gorgeous Japanese Bento Box is made out of traditional Akita cedar wood, and features a “Makie”-technique hand-lacquered Sakura scene on the box cover. The beautifully expressed Sakura on the high-quality cedar wood create a unique bento box that can be treasured as a work of art, as well as used for regular lunch and picnic outings.

This bento also includes a 3-part removable partition for greater meal flexibility, a natural finish to showcase the beautiful Akita wood grains, and a choice of cedar because of the moisture keeping properties of that wood (making rice taste delicious and moist even after it cools down).
