This cute yet traditional Japanese bento box is made in the Edo Period style, from Akita Japanese cedar wood, by Japan’s leading producer of traditional Bento. Cedar wood keeps moisture well, which is why it has long been the material of choice for bento boxes. So even if the rice in the box gets cool, it will not become hard or dry, and stay delicious.

Featuring a removable 3-part partition to give flexibility for meal types, an attractive cherry blossom motif on the box cover, and a natural finish to showcase the beautiful Akita wood grains.
