Premium black velvet version of a traditional Zen Meditation Cushion (Zafu, or Zabuton), made by Kyoto-based Takita Shoten, the most popular Buddhist craft maker in the country. This cushion is used in Japanese Zen temples by priests during meditation and altar work. It can also be used for yoga and stretching. The white section on the side is for writing your name so as not to misplace the cushion.

This cushion comes with a Takita Shoten certificate of authenticity.
