Sold by Japan’s leading provider of Buddhist temple garments, this winter Han-Juban (shirt) is meant to be worn under “Samue”, or everyday monk work clothing, and features outstanding warmth through kneading ceramic into the fabric itself, and including cashmere. The neckline can be adjusted with Velcro, and the shirt is washing machine safe, making cleaning a snap.
Since Samue are often worn by regular Japanese doing outdoor and other work, Juban are also often used among regular people for the same purpose.
