Sold by Japan’s leading provider of Buddhist temple garments, this summer Han-Juban (shirt) is meant to be worn under “Samue”, or everyday monk work clothing, and is a practical but high-quality garment that makes best use of the soft texture of cotton combined with the lightness and suppleness of polyester, to create a refreshing and comfortable fit. The color is a traditional slightly yellowish white.
Since Samue are often worn by regular Japanese doing outdoor and other work, Juban are also often used among regular people for the same purpose.
