This green tea is the classic tea drunk by the tea farmers themselves, emphasizing aroma and taste over appearance. The tea leaf shapes are irregular, but the irregularities and loose bits, buds, and everything else create a wonderful umami and flavor. Deep steamed for more than twice as long as regular green tea, to bring out a full-bodied, mellow Sencha tea.
