Made in the traditional centuries-old ironworking style of Iwate Prefecture, called Iwachu, this cast iron wind chime has a solid presence, beautiful deep bronze color, and rustic ambiance. A treat for the ears as well as for the eyes, this wind chime will liven up your summer with its age-old natural sounds.

Wind chimes as we know them today originated in East Asia, and reached perhaps their most refined state in Edo Period Japan, with this wind chime being made in that historic tradition and style.
