Dashi is the all-important soup or fish stock used to provide the umami flavor so valued in Japanese cuisine. From Riken’s popular line of dashi products, this kombu-based (kelp) dashi does not use chemical additives or added salt, making it a top choice in Japan.
Ingredients: Flavor ingredients (kelp extract powder, kelp powder), starch decomposition products, sugar, yeast extract powder, starch, rice oil.
Recommended portions: For miso soup: 0.8 to 1 g per serving. For simmered food: 0.5 to 0.8 g per serving.
