Featured on NHK TV’s Good Morning Japan as a useful new Japanese invention, and winner of the 2018 Good Design Award in Japan. The Suzuki Shinobix consists of two parts, a harmonica and a slicer, which can be easily attached and detached from each other. By removing the silencer, the Shinobix can be used as a normal harmonica with an easy-to-blow design that provides a top-of-the-line musical experience.
The cylindrical silencer has a spiral interior structure, and is highly compact while providing high noise reduction – a cut of 15 or 20 dB on average on each sound, or an 80% volume reduction in practice.
The goal of the Suzuki Shinobix is to provide an excellent instrument that allows the user to practice without fear in almost any environment, and thus improve much more than they would with a regular harmonica and worries about bothering neighbors or those around them.
